CVE Database
Validating certificate chains which use policies is unexpectedly inefficient when certificates in the chain contain a very large number of policy mappings, possibly causing denial of service. This only affects validation of otherwise trusted certificate chains, issued by a root CA in the VerifyOptions.Roots CertPool, or in the system certificate pool.
During chain building, the amount of work that is done is not correctly limited when a large number of intermediate certificates are passed in VerifyOptions.Intermediates, which can lead to a denial of service. This affects both direct users of crypto/x509 and users of crypto/tls.
Gigamon GVOS v5.16.1 and below is vulnerable to Directory Traversal in the GVOS H-VUE subsystem.
Modoboa before 2.9.0 contains an insecure direct object reference vulnerability in the PUT /api/v1/accounts/{pk}/password/ endpoint that allows domain administrators to change any user's password. Attackers with domain admin privileges can bypass object-level access controls to reset superadmin passwords and achieve full account takeover.
Issue summary: Applications using RSASVE key encapsulation to establish a secret encryption key can send contents of an uninitialized memory buffer to a malicious peer. Impact summary: The uninitialized buffer might contain sensitive data from the previous execution of the application process which leads to sensitive data leakage to an attacker. RSA_public_encrypt() returns the number of bytes written on success and -1 on error. The affected code tests only whether the return value is non-zero. As a result, if RSA encryption fails, encapsulation can still return success to the caller, set the output lengths, and leave the caller to use the contents of the ciphertext buffer as if a valid KEM ciphertext had been produced. If applications use EVP_PKEY_encapsulate() with RSA/RSASVE on an attacker-supplied invalid RSA public key without first validating that key, then this may cause stale or uninitialized contents of the caller-provided ciphertext buffer to be disclosed to the attacker in place of the KEM ciphertext. As a workaround calling EVP_PKEY_public_check() or EVP_PKEY_public_check_quick() before EVP_PKEY_encapsulate() will mitigate the issue. The FIPS modules in 3.6, 3.5, 3.4, 3.3, 3.1 and 3.0 are affected by this issue.
Issue summary: When a delta CRL that contains a Delta CRL Indicator extension is processed a NULL pointer dereference might happen if the required CRL Number extension is missing. Impact summary: A NULL pointer dereference can trigger a crash which leads to a Denial of Service for an application. When CRL processing and delta CRL processing is enabled during X.509 certificate verification, the delta CRL processing does not check whether the CRL Number extension is NULL before dereferencing it. When a malformed delta CRL file is being processed, this parameter can be NULL, causing a NULL pointer dereference. Exploiting this issue requires the X509_V_FLAG_USE_DELTAS flag to be enabled in the verification context, the certificate being verified to contain a freshestCRL extension or the base CRL to have the EXFLAG_FRESHEST flag set, and an attacker to provide a malformed CRL to an application that processes it. The vulnerability is limited to Denial of Service and cannot be escalated to achieve code execution or memory disclosure. For that reason the issue was assessed as Low severity according to our Security Policy. The FIPS modules in 3.6, 3.5, 3.4, 3.3 and 3.0 are not affected by this issue, as the affected code is outside the OpenSSL FIPS module boundary.
Improper neutralization of special elements used in a command ('command injection') in M365 Copilot allows an unauthorized attacker to disclose information over a network.
Docling simplifies document processing by parsing diverse formats and providing integrations with the generative AI ecosystem. Prior to 2.91.0, the EasyOCR model download functionality extracted ZIP archives without validating member paths, enabling Zip Slip attacks. If an attacker could compromise the model download source (via supply chain attack, DNS spoofing, or MITM), they could write arbitrary files to any location writable by the process, potentially achieving remote code execution by overwriting Python files or system binaries, persistent backdoors by modifying startup scripts or SSH keys, and data corruption or system compromise. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.91.0.
A NULL pointer dereference in the gf_odf_vvc_cfg_write_bs function (odf/descriptors.c) of GPAC MP4Box v2.4 allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via supplying a crafted MP4 file.
Landray OA contains an unauthenticated HQL injection vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to query arbitrary Hibernate entity classes by injecting malicious HQL syntax into the uid POST parameter of the wechatLoginHelper.do endpoint. Attackers can exploit the lack of input sanitization in the string-concatenated filter expression passed to the Hibernate findList() call to extract sensitive data such as administrator password hashes and, with sufficient database privileges, perform file-write operations enabling remote code execution. Exploitation evidence was first observed by the Shadowserver Foundation on 2024-03-11 (UTC).
ImageMagick before 7.1.2-15 contains a memory leak vulnerability in multiple coders that write raw pixel data where allocated objects are not properly freed. Attackers can trigger this leak by processing specially crafted images, causing memory exhaustion and denial of service.
prompts.chat prior to commit 7b81836 contains multiple authorization bypass vulnerabilities due to missing isPrivate checks across API endpoints and page metadata generation that allow unauthorized users to access sensitive data associated with private prompts. Attackers can exploit these missing authorization checks to retrieve private prompt version history, change requests, examples, current content, and metadata including titles and descriptions exposed via HTML meta tags.
libais through 0.15 VdmStream::AddLine uses an unchecked sentinel value as a vector index when processing AIS sentences with empty or out-of-range sequential message IDs. Remote attackers can crash services or vessel systems by sending crafted AIVDM sentences over VHF marine radio or IP feeds, causing out-of-bounds memory access and potential corruption.
Eclipse Wakaama before snapshot/2026-05-26 contains an unbounded memory allocation vulnerability in the CoAP Block1 handler within coap/block.c that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to exhaust server memory by sending a sequence of Block1 PUT requests with incrementing block numbers. Attackers can target the registration endpoint over UDP without authentication, causing the server to repeatedly reallocate a growing accumulation buffer by appending each block payload without enforcing any maximum total size limit, resulting in denial of service through memory exhaustion.
Microsoft Defender Denial of Service Vulnerability
Authen::TOTP versions before 0.1.1 for Perl generate secrets using rand. Secrets were generated using Perl's built-in rand function, which is predictable and unsuitable for security usage.
jq is a command-line JSON processor. Before commit 0c7d133c3c7e37c00b6d46b658a02244fdd3c784, jq used MurmurHash3 with a hardcoded, publicly visible seed (0x432A9843) for all JSON object hash table operations, which allowed an attacker to precompute key collisions offline. By supplying a crafted JSON object (~100 KB) where all keys hashed to the same bucket, hash table lookups degraded from O(1) to O(n), turning any jq expression into an O(n²) operation and causing significant CPU exhaustion. This affected common jq use cases such as CI/CD pipelines, web services, and data processing scripts, and was far more practical to exploit than existing heap overflow issues since it required only a small payload. This issue has been patched in commit 0c7d133c3c7e37c00b6d46b658a02244fdd3c784.
Heap-based buffer overflow in Remote Desktop Client allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network.
JavaScript::Minifier::XS versions before 0.16 for Perl leak memory on every call to minify(), allowing unbounded memory growth. In JsMinify (XS.xs) the cleanup frees only the NodeSet structures and never the per-token contents buffers allocated in JsSetNodeContents; JsDiscardNode unlinks nodes without freeing their contents. Each token's contents buffer is therefore leaked on every call, and the two early returns taken when the node list is empty leak the whole NodeSet. A long-lived process that minifies repeatedly, such as an asset pipeline or a server-side minifier endpoint, grows in memory without bound until it exhausts available memory and is killed, causing denial of service.
Before Airflow 3.2.0, it was unclear that secure Airflow deployments require the Deployment Manager to take appropriate actions and pay attention to security details and security model of Airflow. Some assumptions the Deployment Manager could make were not clear or explicit enough, even though Airflow's intentions and security model of Airflow did not suggest different assumptions. The overall security model [1], workload isolation [2], and JWT authentication details [3] are now described in more detail. Users concerned with role isolation and following the Airflow security model of Airflow are advised to upgrade to Airflow 3.2, where several security improvements have been implemented. They should also read and follow the relevant documents to make sure that their deployment is secure enough. It also clarifies that the Deployment Manager is ultimately responsible for securing your Airflow deployment. This had also been communicated via Airflow 3.2.0 Blog announcement [4]. [1] Security Model: https://airflow.apache.org/docs/apache-airflow/stable/security/jwt_token_authentication.html [2] Workload isolation: https://airflow.apache.org/docs/apache-airflow/stable/security/workload.html [3] JWT Token authentication: https://airflow.apache.org/docs/apache-airflow/stable/security/jwt_token_authentication.html [4] Airflow 3.2.0 Blog announcement: https://airflow.apache.org/blog/airflow-3.2.0/ Users are recommended to upgrade to version 3.2.0, which fixes this issue.
pnpm is a package manager. Prior to 10.33.4 and 11.0.7, a malicious codeload.github.com server can serve whatever tarball it wants and pnpm will install it regardless of the lockfile. The lockfile does not store the hash of the dependencies from https://codeload.github.com. This means that if this server was compromised or a person's machine configuration was compromised, pnpm would download and install these dependencies. This vulnerability is fixed in 10.33.4 and 11.0.7.
Insertion of Sensitive Information Into Sent Data vulnerability in Logtivity Activity Logs Activity Logs, User Activity Tracking, Multisite Activity Log from Logtivity allows Retrieve Embedded Sensitive Data. This issue affects Activity Logs, User Activity Tracking, Multisite Activity Log from Logtivity: from n/a through 3.3.6.
Issue summary: When a partial-chain certificate verification is enabled together with OCSP response checking for the whole chain, a NULL dereference will happen if the verified chain does not have a self-signed trusted anchor, crashing the process. Impact summary: A NULL pointer dereference can trigger a crash which leads to a Denial of Service for an application. When performing OCSP response checking for certificates in the verification chain, the code always tries to access the next certificate as the issuer. There is a check for a self-signed certificate. However with the partial chain verification enabled when the chain does not have a self-signed trusted anchor, the issuer will be NULL for the last certificate in the chain. A NULL pointer dereference then happens. This issue affects only applications which enable both OCSP verification of the certificate chain (X509_V_FLAG_OCSP_RESP_CHECK_ALL) and partial chain verification (X509_V_FLAG_PARTIAL_CHAIN) in the certificate verification. Both flags are disabled by default. For that reason, we have assigned Low severity to the issue. No FIPS modules are affected by this issue as the affected code is outside the OpenSSL FIPS module boundary.
In JetBrains YouTrack before 2026.2.16593 improper authorisation in the app configurations endpoint allowed modifying project settings
Use after free in Dawn in Google Chrome prior to 149.0.7827.53 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to potentially perform a sandbox escape via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)

The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet.
Textream is a free macOS teleprompter app. Prior to version 1.5.1, the `DirectorServer` WebSocket server imposes no limit on concurrent connections. Combined with a broadcast timer that sends state to all connected clients every 100 ms, an attacker can exhaust CPU and memory by flooding the server with connections, causing the Textream application to freeze and crash during a live session. Version 1.5.1 fixes the issue.
Integer overflow in CredentialProvider in Google Chrome on Windows prior to 149.0.7827.53 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to perform OS-level privilege escalation via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
In Microsoft Exchange through 2019, Exchange ActiveSync (EAS) configurations on on-premises servers may transmit sensitive data from Samsung mobile devices in cleartext, including the user's name, e-mail address, device ID, bearer token, and base64-encoded password.
Applications may be vulnerable to a Regular Expression Denial of Service (ReDoS) attack if an attacker is able to provide a pattern which is then directly or indirectly supplied to one of the following methods in AntPathMatcher: match(String pattern, String path), matchStart(String pattern, String path), extractUriTemplateVariables(String pattern, String path). Affected versions: Spring Framework 7.0.0 through 7.0.7; 6.2.0 through 6.2.18; 6.1.0 through 6.1.27; 5.3.0 through 5.3.48.
phpMyFAQ is an open source FAQ web application. Prior to version 4.0.18, the WebAuthn prepare endpoint (`/api/webauthn/prepare`) creates new active user accounts without any authentication, CSRF protection, captcha, or configuration checks. This allows unauthenticated attackers to create unlimited user accounts even when registration is disabled. Version 4.0.18 fixes the issue.
Unauthenticated Broken Access Control in MainWP Child <= 6.1.1 versions.
UDS protocol dissector infinite loop in Wireshark 4.6.0 to 4.6.4 and 4.4.0 to 4.4.14 allows denial of service
String::Util versions before 1.36 for Perl are susceptible to a regular expression denial of service. The trim and rtrim functions stripped trailing whitespace with s/\s*$//u. Because \s* matches greedily and the $ anchor fails whenever a non-whitespace character follows the whitespace, the regex engine retries the match at each offset of a long whitespace run, producing quadratic backtracking. The fix replaces \s*$ with \s+$. Any caller that passes untrusted input to trim or rtrim can trigger CPU exhaustion with a string containing a long run of whitespace.
An unauthenticated NULL pointer dereference vulnerability exists in IEEE8021x_upload.cgi in GeoVision GV-LPC2011 and GV-LPC2211 V1.12 and earlier. The vulnerability is caused by improper validation of multipart upload headers when processing certificate-related upload fields. A remote attacker may exploit this vulnerability by sending a malformed multipart request, causing the affected CGI process to crash and resulting in a denial of service.
Envoy is an open source edge and service proxy designed for cloud-native applications. From 1.18.0 until 1.35.13, 1.36.9, 1.37.5, and 1.38.3, the router filter contains a null pointer dereference vulnerability when handling HTTP 303 (See Other) internal redirects for body-less non-GET/HEAD requests. When a POST, PUT, DELETE, or PATCH request without a body is sent to a route configured with internal redirect policy that includes 303 in redirect_response_codes, and the upstream responds with HTTP 303, the redirect handling code attempts to drain a request body buffer that was never allocated. This results in a segmentation fault that crashes the entire Envoy process. When route configured with internal_redirect_policy including 303 in redirect_response_codes and upstream must return HTTP 303 response, an unauthenticated attacker can exploit this to cause complete denial of service, terminating all active connections. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.35.13, 1.36.9, 1.37.5, and 1.38.3.
Envoy is an open source edge and service proxy designed for cloud-native applications. From 1.34.0 until 1.35.13, 1.36.9, 1.37.5, and 1.38.3, a vulnerability exists in Envoy's TCP StatsD sink (TcpStatsdSink), where the thread-local flusher buffer can be overflowed by exceptionally long statistic names (e.g., >16KiB). During formatting, TcpStatsdSink reserves a single contiguous memory slice of 16KiB (FLUSH_SLICE_SIZE_BYTES). If formatting a single metric exceeds the remaining capacity, the flusher initiates a buffer rotation but incorrectly continues to allocate another fixed 16KiB slice. If an attacker can trigger a statistic name longer than 16KiB—for example, by sending an HTTP or gRPC request with an extremely long request path (:path) that is recorded by the grpc_stats filter configured with stats_for_all_methods: true—the flusher will attempt to copy the metric name using memcpy operations beyond the allocated heap buffer boundaries. This leads to a heap write overflow, which can cause immediate denial-of-service (process crash) or potential remote code execution (RCE). This vulnerability is fixed in 1.35.13, 1.36.9, 1.37.5, and 1.38.3.
Insecure Permissions vulnerability in MSI NBFoundation Service v.2.0.2506.1201 allows a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information via the MSIAPService.exe component
Unauthenticated Sensitive Data Exposure in WooCommerce PDF Invoices, Packing Slips, Delivery Notes and Shipping Labels <= 4.9.4 versions.
Flowise before 3.0.6 contains an arbitrary file read vulnerability in the chatId parameter of the /api/v1/get-upload-file and /api/v1/openai-assistants-file/download endpoints. The chatId value is not validated and is passed to streamStorageFile(), where a fallback file-lookup path constructed without the orgId is evaluated after the storage-directory containment check, allowing path traversal beyond the intended storage directory. Unauthenticated attackers can read sensitive files such as /root/.flowise/database.sqlite, exposing all database content in the default configuration.
Mac Photo Gallery 3.0 contains a path traversal vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to download arbitrary files by manipulating the albid parameter. Attackers can send requests to macdownload.php with directory traversal sequences to access sensitive files like wp-load.php outside the intended plugin directory.
A flaw was found in 389 Directory Server. The dereference control plugin does not check for allocation failure before using a BER structure, allowing an unauthenticated remote attacker to crash the LDAP server when the system is under memory pressure.
A flaw in Node.js WebCrypto implementation can crash the process if the input of `subtle.encrypt()` is a multiple of 2GiB. This vulnerability affects all supported release lines: **Node.js 22**, **Node.js 24**, and **Node.js 26**.
Unauthenticated Arbitrary Content Deletion in OpenAI Chatbot for WordPress – Helper <= 1.1.4 versions.
Use after free in WebAppInstalls in Google Chrome on Mac prior to 148.0.7778.216 allowed a remote attacker who convinced a user to engage in specific UI gestures to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High)
Uninitialized Use in iOS in Google Chrome on iOS prior to 148.0.7778.216 allowed a remote attacker who convinced a user to engage in specific UI gestures to execute arbitrary code inside a sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High)
wpDiscuz before 7.6.47 contains an SQL injection vulnerability in the getAllSubscriptions() function where string parameters lack proper quote escaping in SQL queries. Attackers can inject malicious SQL code through email, activation_key, subscription_date, and imported_from parameters to manipulate database queries and extract sensitive information.

| CVE-2026-48995 | 0 MINIMAL | 7.5 | 0.12% P: 2.5% | HIGH | CWE-353 | none | MONITOR | pnpm is a package manager. |

| CVE-2026-42765 | 0 MINIMAL | 7.5 | — P: — | HIGH | CWE-476 | none | MONITOR | Issue summary: When a partial-chain certificate verification is enabled together with OCSP response checking for the whole chain, a NULL dereference will happen if the verified chain does not have a self-signed trusted anchor, crashing the process. |

| CVE-2026-14895 | 0 MINIMAL | 7.5 | 0.39% P: 31.3% | HIGH | CWE-1333 | none | MONITOR | String::Util versions before 1.36 for Perl are susceptible to a regular expression denial of service. |
| CVE-2026-57873 | 0 MINIMAL | 7.5 | 0.21% P: 10.8% | HIGH | CWE-476 | none | MONITOR | An unauthenticated NULL pointer dereference vulnerability exists in IEEE8021x_upload.cgi in GeoVision GV-LPC2011 and GV-LPC2211 V1.12 and earlier. The vulnerability is caused by improper validation of multipart upload headers when processing certificate-related upload fields. A remote attacker may exploit this vulnerability by sending a malformed multipart request, causing the affected CGI process to crash and resulting in a denial of service. |
| CVE-2026-47221 | 0 MINIMAL | 7.5 | 0.45% P: 35.5% | HIGH | CWE-476 | none | MONITOR | Envoy is an open source edge and service proxy designed for cloud-native applications. |
| CVE-2026-48706 | 0 MINIMAL | 7.5 | 0.56% P: 42.2% | HIGH | CWE-120 | none | MONITOR | Envoy is an open source edge and service proxy designed for cloud-native applications. |
