By accessing or using CTIWatch ("the Platform"), operated by Lear Security, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
2. Platform Description
CTIWatch is a Cyber Threat Intelligence platform that aggregates, correlates, and displays threat intelligence data from various public sources. The Platform provides:
- Indicators of Compromise (IOCs) database
- Vulnerability tracking (CVEs, CISA KEV)
- Ransomware victim monitoring
- Threat actor and campaign intelligence
- Security news aggregation
3. Use License
Permission is granted to temporarily access and use the Platform for personal, educational, or legitimate security research purposes, subject to the following restrictions:
- You may not use the data for illegal purposes
- You may not attempt to overwhelm or attack our infrastructure
- You may not redistribute our aggregated data without attribution
- You may not use automated scraping that degrades service quality
4. Disclaimer & Limitation
IMPORTANT: The threat intelligence data provided on this Platform is for INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. Use at your own risk.
THE PLATFORM AND ALL DATA ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Warranties of merchantability
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Accuracy or completeness of data
- Non-infringement
Lear Security shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the Platform, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages.
5. Data Accuracy & Verification
While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date threat intelligence:
- IOCs may be subject to false positives
- Threat actor attribution may change as new information emerges
- Vulnerability data is sourced from third parties
- Victim information is based on public disclosures
Always verify IOCs and threat intelligence before taking defensive actions. We recommend cross-referencing with multiple sources.
6. Prohibited Uses
You may NOT use the Platform:
- For any unlawful purpose or to facilitate illegal activities
- To target, harass, or harm individuals or organizations
- To conduct attacks using the information provided
- To overwhelm, degrade, or disrupt our services
- To violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law
- To infringe upon intellectual property rights
7. Intellectual Property
The Platform's original content, features, and functionality are owned by Lear Security and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Threat intelligence data displayed on the Platform is sourced from various public sources, each with their own licensing terms. Users are responsible for complying with source-specific terms when using such data.
8. Third-Party Links & Data Sources
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites and display data from external sources. We are not responsible for:
- The content, accuracy, or practices of third-party sites
- Data quality from external threat intelligence sources
- Any damage caused by using third-party information
9. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the Platform immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will immediately cease.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Brazil, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the competent courts of Brazil.
