Netty is a network application framework for development of protocol servers and clients. In netty-codec-redis prior to versions 4.1.135.Final and 4.2.15.Final, an attacker can cause DoS by sending a crafted Redis payload with deeply nested arrays. This forces the server to allocate a massive number of state objects and collections, leading to memory exhaustion and an OutOfMemoryError. Versions 4.1.135.Final and 4.2.15.Final patch the issue.

Free5GC is an open-source Linux Foundation project for 5th generation (5G) mobile core networks. Versions prior to 1.4.2 are vulnerable to procedure panic caused by Nil Pointer Dereference in the /sdm-subscriptions endpoint. A remote attacker can cause the UDM service to panic and crash by sending a crafted POST request to the /sdm-subscriptions endpoint with a malformed URL path containing path traversal sequences (../) and a large JSON payload. The DataChangeNotificationProcedure function in notifier.go attempts to access a nil pointer without proper validation, causing a complete service crash with "runtime error: invalid memory address or nil pointer dereference". Exploitation would result in UDM functionality disruption until recovery by restart. This issue has been fixed in version 1.4.2.

fast-xml-parser allows users to process XML from JS object without C/C++ based libraries or callbacks. Versions 4.0.0-beta.3 through 5.5.5 contain a bypass vulnerability where numeric character references (&#NNN;, &#xHH;) and standard XML entities completely evade the entity expansion limits (e.g., maxTotalExpansions, maxExpandedLength) added to fix CVE-2026-26278, enabling XML entity expansion Denial of Service. The root cause is that replaceEntitiesValue() in OrderedObjParser.js only enforces expansion counting on DOCTYPE-defined entities while the lastEntities loop handling numeric/standard entities performs no counting at all. An attacker supplying 1M numeric entity references like A can force ~147MB of memory allocation and heavy CPU usage, potentially crashing the process—even when developers have configured strict limits. This issue has been fixed in version 5.5.6.

SQLBot is an intelligent data query system based on a large language model and RAG. Versions prior to 1.7.0 contain a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability that allows an attacker to retrieve arbitrary system and application files from the server. An attacker can exploit the /api/v1/datasource/check endpoint by configuring a forged MySQL data source with a malicious parameter extraJdbc="local_infile=1". When the SQLBot backend attempts to verify the connectivity of this data source, an attacker-controlled Rogue MySQL server issues a malicious LOAD DATA LOCAL INFILE command during the MySQL handshake. This forces the target server to read arbitrary files from its local filesystem (such as /etc/passwd or configuration files) and transmit the contents back to the attacker. This issue was fixed in version 1.7.0.

The WP Ticket plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the WordPress search query parameter (`s`) in versions up to, and including, 6.0.4 The plugin hooks WordPress's `posts_request` filter with `wp_ticket_com_posts_request()`, which calls `emd_author_search_results()` when the current request is an unauthenticated front-end search. That function reads `$query->query_vars['s']` — already wp_unslash()'d by `WP_Query::parse_query()`, so wp_magic_quotes protection has been stripped — and concatenates the raw value into a SQL `LIKE` clause inside a UNION sub-SELECT appended to the main query, with no `$wpdb->prepare()` or escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into already-existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.

HMAC zero-length tag forgery in EVP_DigestVerifyFinal, where a zero-length tag could be accepted as valid during HMAC verification. In the OpenSSL-compatibility HMAC verify path the supplied signature length was only checked as not exceeding the MAC length, so a zero-length or otherwise truncated tag could pass verification. The fix requires the supplied tag length to exactly equal the MAC length and rejects a zero-length MAC, so a forged short or empty tag is no longer accepted.

FreeSWITCH is a Software Defined Telecom Stack enabling the digital transformation from proprietary telecom switches to a software implementation that runs on any commodity hardware. Prior to version 1.11.1, mod_verto's WebSocket frame loop intercepts a #-prefixed speed-test protocol (#SPU / #SPB / #SPE) before any authentication check. The declared payload size in #SPU was parsed with atoi() and only rejected non-positive values, so an unauthenticated peer could request up to INT_MAX bytes. The server then wrote roughly size * 10 bytes back during the download phase, on the order of 20 GB per request, yielding strong outbound bandwidth amplification from a short request. This issue has been patched in version 1.11.1.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: lib/crypto: chacha: Zeroize permuted_state before it leaves scope Since the ChaCha permutation is invertible, the local variable 'permuted_state' is sufficient to compute the original 'state', and thus the key, even after the permutation has been done. While the kernel is quite inconsistent about zeroizing secrets on the stack (and some prominent userspace crypto libraries don't bother at all since it's not guaranteed to work anyway), the kernel does try to do it as a best practice, especially in cases involving the RNG. Thus, explicitly zeroize 'permuted_state' before it goes out of scope.

This affects versions of the package exifreader before 4.39.0. A crafted image containing an ICC mluc tag can set an attacker-controlled record count together with a zero record size. jackson-databind contains the general-purpose data-binding functionality and tree-model for Jackson Data Processor. From 2.13.0 until 2.14.0, a potential Denial-of-Service exists when attacker sends deeply nested JSON if (and only if) the service reads deeply nested (1000s of levels) JSON as JsonNode (ObjectMapper.readTree()) and writes out same (or modifided) node using JsonNode.toString(). Russh is a Rust SSH client & server library. From version 0.34.0 to before version 0.61.1, when SSH compression is enabled, russh accepted compressed packets whose on-wire size passed the normal transport packet-length checks but whose decompressed size was much larger. This allowed a remote peer to send oversized post-decompression packets that should have been rejected. In current releases, this is a remote denial-of-service / resource-exhaustion issue in the post-decompression receive path. In older releases before 0.58.0, the same remote decompression path used CryptoVec, which appears to make the historical impact worse. This issue has been patched in version 0.61.1.

Improper Check for Unusual or Exceptional Conditions vulnerability in phoenixframework phoenix (Presence JavaScript client) allows an attacker with ordinary channel access to cause a persistent client-side denial of service against every viewer of a presence channel topic. This vulnerability is associated with program files assets/js/phoenix/presence.js and program routines Presence.syncState and Presence.syncDiff. The Phoenix JavaScript presence client checks whether a presence already exists with a bare truthiness test (state[key]) instead of an own-property check. Presence keys can be attacker-controlled, because applications track presences under a username or id supplied by the client. A user who joins a channel choosing a key that is an Object.prototype member name (__proto__, constructor, toString, hasOwnProperty, and similar) makes that lookup return JavaScript's built-in Object.prototype instead of undefined. Because the prototype is truthy, the code treats it as an existing presence and reads .metas.map(...) off it, which throws an uncaught TypeError. The exception propagates out of the presence message handler, so the local state is never updated and onSync() never fires. Because the malicious key is tracked on the server, it is re-pushed on every presence update and keeps re-throwing, so presence sync stays broken for every viewer of that channel topic until the attacker leaves. Both syncState and syncDiff use the same unsafe existence-check pattern. The impact is limited to the affected topic and is a read-time confusion of the prototype object, not a mutation of Object.prototype (it is not prototype pollution). This issue affects phoenix: from 1.2.0-rc.0 before 1.5.15, from 1.6.0-rc.0 before 1.6.17, from 1.7.0-rc.0 before 1.7.24, and from 1.8.0-rc.0 before 1.8.9.

The Gravity SMTP plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 2.1.4. This is due to a REST API endpoint registered at /wp-json/gravitysmtp/v1/tests/mock-data with a permission_callback that unconditionally returns true, allowing any unauthenticated visitor to access it. When the ?page=gravitysmtp-settings query parameter is appended, the plugin's register_connector_data() method populates internal connector data, causing the endpoint to return approximately 365 KB of JSON containing the full System Report. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to retrieve detailed system configuration data including PHP version, loaded extensions, web server version, document root path, database server type and version, WordPress version, all active plugins with versions, active theme, WordPress configuration details, database table names, and any API keys/tokens configured in the plugin.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipmi: Add limits to event and receive message requests The driver would just fetch events and receive messages until the BMC said it was done. To avoid issues with BMCs that never say they are done, add a limit of 10 fetches at a time. In addition, an si interface has an attn state it can return from the hardware which is supposed to cause a flag fetch to see if the driver needs to fetch events or message or a few other things. If the attn bit gets stuck, it's a similar problem. So allow messages in between flag fetches so the driver itself doesn't get stuck. This is a more general fix than the previous fix for the specific bad BMC, but should fix the more general issue of a BMC that won't stop saying it has data. This has been there from the beginning of the driver. It's not a bug per-se, but it is accounting for bugs in BMCs.

Docker Model Runner (DMR) is software used to manage, run, and deploy AI models using Docker. Versions prior to 1.0.16 expose a POST `/engines/_configure` endpoint that accepts arbitrary runtime flags without authentication. These flags are passed directly to the underlying inference server (llama.cpp). By injecting the --log-file flag, an attacker with network access to the Model Runner API can write or overwrite arbitrary files accessible to the Model Runner process. When bundled with Docker Desktop (where Model Runner is enabled by default since version 4.46.0), it is reachable from any default container at model-runner.docker.internal without authentication. In this context, the file overwrite can target the Docker Desktop VM disk (`Docker.raw` ), resulting in the destruction of all containers, images, volumes, and build history. However, in specific configurations and with user interaction, it is possible to convert this vulnerability in a container escape. The issue is fixed in Docker Model Runner 1.0.16. Docker Desktop users should update to 4.61.0 or later, which includes the fixed Model Runner. A workaround is available. For Docker Desktop users, enabling Enhanced Container Isolation (ECI) blocks container access to Model Runner, preventing exploitation. However, if the Docker Model Runner is exposed to localhost over TCP in specific configurations, the vulnerability is still exploitable.

TinyWeb is a web server (HTTP, HTTPS) written in Delphi for Win32. Versions prior to version 2.02 are vulnerable to a Denial of Service (DoS) attack known as Slowloris. The server spawns a new OS thread for every incoming connection without enforcing a maximum concurrency limit or an appropriate request timeout. An unauthenticated remote attacker can exhaust server concurrency limits and memory by opening numerous connections and sending data exceptionally slowly (e.g. 1 byte every few minutes). Anyone hosting services using TinyWeb is impacted. Version 2.02 fixes the issue. The patch introduces a `CMaxConnections` limit (set to 512) and a `CConnectionTimeoutSecs` idle timeout (set to 30 seconds). As a temporary workaround if upgrading is not immediately possible, consider placing the server behind a robust reverse proxy or Web Application Firewall (WAF) such as nginx, HAProxy, or Cloudflare, configured to buffer incomplete requests and aggressively enforce connection limits and timeouts.

Wasmtime is a runtime for WebAssembly. Prior to versions 24.0.6, 36.0.6, 4.0.04, 41.0.4, and 42.0.0, Wasmtime's implementation of the `wasi:http/types.fields` resource is susceptible to panics when too many fields are added to the set of headers. Wasmtime's implementation in the `wasmtime-wasi-http` crate is backed by a data structure which panics when it reaches excessive capacity and this condition was not handled gracefully in Wasmtime. Panicking in a WASI implementation is a Denial of Service vector for embedders and is treated as a security vulnerability in Wasmtime. Wasmtime 24.0.6, 36.0.6, 40.0.4, 41.0.4, and 42.0.0 patch this vulnerability and return a trap to the guest instead of panicking. There are no known workarounds at this time. bit7z is a cross-platform C++ static library that allows the compression/extraction of archive files. Prior to version 4.0.11, a path traversal vulnerability ("Zip Slip") exists in bit7z's archive extraction functionality. The library does not adequately validate file paths contained in archive entries, allowing files to be written outside the intended extraction directory through three distinct mechanisms: relative path traversal, absolute path traversal, and symbolic link traversal. An attacker can exploit this by providing a malicious archive to any application that uses bit7z to extract untrusted archives. Successful exploitation results in arbitrary file write with the privileges of the process performing the extraction. This could lead to overwriting of application binaries, configuration files, or other sensitive data. The vulnerability does not directly enable reading of file contents; the confidentiality impact is limited to the calling application's own behavior after extraction. However, applications that subsequently serve or display extracted files may face secondary confidentiality risks from attacker-created symlinks. Fixes have been released in version 4.0.11. If upgrading is not immediately possible, users can mitigate the vulnerability by validating each entry's destination path before writing. Other mitigations include running extraction with least privilege and extracting untrusted archives in a sandboxed directory.
