In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: fix OOB read in smb2_ioctl_query_info QUERY_INFO path smb2_ioctl_query_info() has two response-copy branches: PASSTHRU_FSCTL and the default QUERY_INFO path. The QUERY_INFO branch clamps qi.input_buffer_length to the server-reported OutputBufferLength and then copies qi.input_buffer_length bytes from qi_rsp->Buffer to userspace, but it never verifies that the flexible-array payload actually fits within rsp_iov[1].iov_len. A malicious server can return OutputBufferLength larger than the actual QUERY_INFO response, causing copy_to_user() to walk past the response buffer and expose adjacent kernel heap to userspace. Guard the QUERY_INFO copy with a bounds check on the actual Buffer payload. Use struct_size(qi_rsp, Buffer, qi.input_buffer_length) rather than an open-coded addition so the guard cannot overflow on 32-bit builds.

OpenCTI is an open source platform for managing cyber threat intelligence knowledge and observables. Prior to version 6.9.1, the GraphQL mutations "IndividualDeletionDeleteMutation" is intended to allow users to delete individual entity objects respectively. However, it was observed that this mutation can be misused to delete unrelated and sensitive objects such as analyses reports etc. This behavior stems from the lack of validation in the API to ensure that the targeted object is contextually related to the mutation being executed. Version 6.9.1 fixes the issue.

HireFlow v1.2 is vulnerable to Incorrect Access Control. The application does not enforce object-level authorization on the /candidate/<id> and /interview/<id> endpoints. The route handlers retrieve records by the user-supplied ID without verifying that the requesting user is the owner or has an authorized role. Any authenticated user can access any other user's candidate profiles and interview notes by iterating the integer ID in the URL path, constituting a horizontal privilege escalation and full data breach of all records in the system.

The Import and export users and customers plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to privilege escalation in all versions up to, and including, 1.29.7. This is due to the 'save_extra_user_profile_fields' function not properly restricting which user meta keys can be updated via profile fields. The 'get_restricted_fields' method does not include sensitive meta keys such as 'wp_capabilities'. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to escalate their privileges to Administrator by submitting a crafted registration request that sets the 'wp_capabilities' meta key. The vulnerability can only be exploited if the "Show fields in profile" setting is enabled and a CSV with a wp_capabilities column header has been previously imported.

PX4 Autopilot versions 1.12.x through 1.15.x contain a protection mechanism failure in the "Re-arm Grace Period" logic. The system incorrectly applies the in-air emergency re-arm logic to ground scenarios. If a pilot switches to Manual mode and re-arms within 5 seconds (default configuration) of an automatic landing, the system bypasses all pre-flight safety checks, including the throttle threshold check. This allows for an immediate high-thrust takeoff if the throttle stick is raised, leading to loss of control.

YetAnotherForum.NET (YAF.NET) is a C# ASP.NET forum. Prior to 4.0.5 and 3.2.12, the application's database logger (YAFNET.Core/Logger/DbLogger.cs) captures the incoming request's User-Agent header into a JObject, serializes it with JsonConvert, and stores the result in the EventLog.Description column whenever an event (e.g., an unhandled exception) is logged. The admin event-log page (YetAnotherForum.NET/Pages/Admin/EventLog.cshtml.cs) later deserializes that JSON in FormatStackTrace() and interpolates the UserAgent value directly into an HTML string with no encoding, and the Razor view EventLog.cshtml emits the result through @Html.Raw. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.0.5 and 3.2.12.

OpenC3 COSMOS provides the functionality needed to send commands to and receive data from one or more embedded systems. Prior to versions 6.10.5 and 7.0.0-rc3, the OpenC3 password change functionality allows a user to change their password without providing the old password, by accepting a valid session token instead. In assumed breach scenarios, this behaviour can be exploited by an attacker who has already obtained a valid session token, to gain persistence in hijacked account (including admin) and prevent legitimate users from accessing the account. This issue has been patched in versions 6.10.5 and 7.0.0-rc3.

Kirby is an open-source content management system. Prior to versions 4.9.0 and 5.4.0, Kirby's user permissions control which user role is allowed to perform specific actions to content models in the CMS. These permissions are defined for each role in the user blueprint (`site/blueprints/users/...`). It is also possible to customize the permissions for each target model in the model blueprints (such as in `site/blueprints/pages/...`) using the `options` feature. The permissions and options together control the authorization of user actions. For pages, Kirby provides the `pages.create` and `pages.changeStatus` permissions (among others). In affected releases, Kirby checked these permissions independently and only for the respective action. However the `changeStatus` permission didn't take effect on page creation. New pages are created as drafts by default and need to be published by changing the page status of an existing page draft. This is ensured when the page is created via the Kirby Panel. However the REST API allows to override the `isDraft` flag when creating a new page. This allowed authenticated attackers with the `pages.create` permission to immediately create published pages, bypassing the normal editorial workflow. The problem has been patched in Kirby 4.9.0 and Kirby 5.4.0. Kirby has updated the `Options` logic to no longer double-resolve queries in option values coming from `OptionsQuery` or `OptionsApi` sources. Kirby now only resolves queries that are directly configured in the blueprints.

BusyBox before commit 42202bf contains a heap buffer overflow vulnerability in the DHCPv6 client (udhcpc6) DNS_SERVERS option handler in networking/udhcp/d6_dhcpc.c that allows network-adjacent attackers to trigger memory corruption by sending a crafted DHCPv6 response with a malformed D6_OPT_DNS_SERVERS option. Attackers can exploit incorrect heap buffer allocation calculations in the option_to_env() function to cause denial of service or achieve arbitrary code execution on embedded systems without heap hardening.

The Drag and Drop File Upload for Contact Form 7 plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file upload in versions up to, and including, 1.1.3. This is due to the plugin extracting the file extension before sanitization occurs and allowing the file type parameter to be controlled by the attacker rather than being restricted to administrator-configured values, which when combined with the fact that validation occurs on the unsanitized extension while the file is saved with a sanitized extension, allows special characters like '$' to be stripped during the save process. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to upload arbitrary PHP files and potentially achieve remote code execution, however, an .htaccess file and name randomization is in place which restricts real-world exploitability.

HomeBox is a home inventory and organization system. Versions prior to 0.25.0 contain a vulnerability where the defaultGroup ID remained permanently assigned to a user after being invited to a group, even after their access to that group was revoked. While the web interface correctly enforced the access revocation and prevented the user from viewing or modifying the group's contents, the API did not. Because the original group ID persisted as the user's defaultGroup, and this value was not properly validated when the X-Tenant header was omitted, the user could still perform full CRUD operations on the group's collections through the API, bypassing the intended access controls. React Router is a router for React. In versions 7.0.0 through 7.14.1, when using Framework Mode, a combination of steps could potentially allow unauthorized remote code execution (RCE) through external requests. This attack requires the application code to have an existing prototype pollution vulnerability, which can then be leveraged in a 2-step attack where the second step triggers unauthorized RCE on the remote server. This does not impact applications using Declarative Mode (`<BrowserRouter>`) or Data Mode (`createBrowserRouter/<RouterProvider>`). This is patched in version 7.14.2.

Tandoor Recipes is an application for managing recipes, planning meals, and building shopping lists. Versions up to and including 2.5.3 set ALLOWED_HOSTS = '*' by default, which causes Django to accept any value in the HTTP Host header without validation. The application uses request.build_absolute_uri() to generate absolute URLs in multiple contexts, including invite link emails, API pagination, and OpenAPI schema generation. An attacker who can send requests to the application with a crafted Host header can manipulate all server-generated absolute URLs. The most critical impact is invite link poisoning: when an admin creates an invite and the application sends the invite email, the link points to the attacker's server instead of the real application. When the victim clicks the link, the invite token is sent to the attacker, who can then use it at the real application. As of time of publication, it is unknown if a patched version is available.

HTSlib is a library for reading and writing bioinformatics file formats. CRAM is a compressed format which stores DNA sequence alignment data. As one method of removing redundant data, CRAM uses reference-based compression so that instead of storing the full sequence for each alignment record it stores a location in an external reference sequence along with a list of differences to the reference at that location as a sequence of "features". When decoding these features, an out-by-one error in a test for CRAM features that appear beyond the extent of the CRAM record sequence could result in an invalid write of one attacker-controlled byte beyond the end of a heap buffer. Exploiting this bug causes a heap buffer overflow. If a user opens a file crafted to exploit this issue, it could lead to the program crashing, or overwriting of data and heap structures in ways not expected by the program. It may be possible to use this to obtain arbitrary code execution. Versions 1.23.1, 1.22.2 and 1.21.1 include fixes for this issue. There is no workaround for this issue.

HTSlib is a library for reading and writing bioinformatics file formats. CRAM is a compressed format which stores DNA sequence alignment data using a variety of encodings and compression methods. When reading data encoded using the `BYTE_ARRAY_LEN` method, the `cram_byte_array_len_decode()` failed to validate that the amount of data being unpacked matched the size of the output buffer where it was to be stored. Depending on the data series being read, this could result either in a heap or a stack overflow with attacker-controlled bytes. Depending on the data stream this could result either in a heap buffer overflow or a stack overflow. If a user opens a file crafted to exploit this issue it could lead to the program crashing, overwriting of data structures on the heap or stack in ways not expected by the program, or changing the control flow of the program. It may be possible to use this to obtain arbitrary code execution. Versions 1.23.1, 1.22.2 and 1.21.1 include fixes for this issue. There is no workaround for this issue.

ChurchCRM is an open-source church management system. Prior to 7.1.0, a SQL injection vulnerability exists in PropertyTypeEditor.php, part of the administration functionality for managing property type categories (People → Person Properties / Family Properties). The vulnerability was introduced when legacyFilterInput() which both strips HTML and escapes SQL — was replaced with sanitizeText(), which strips HTML only. User-supplied values from the Name and Description fields are concatenated directly into raw INSERT and UPDATE queries with no SQL escaping. This allows any authenticated user with the MenuOptions role (a non-admin staff permission) to perform time-based blind injection and exfiltrate any data from the database, including password hashes of all users. LORIS (Longitudinal Online Research and Imaging System) is a self-hosted web application that provides data- and project-management for neuroimaging research. Starting in version 24.0.0 and prior to versions 26.0.5, 27.0.2, and 28.0.0, an authenticated user with the appropriate authorization can read configuration files on the server by exploiting a path traversal vulnerability. Some of these files contain hard-coded credentials. The vulnerability allows an attacker to read configuration files containing hard-coded credentials. The attacker could then authenticate to the database or other services if those credentials are reused. The attacker must be authenticated and have the required permissions. However, the vulnerability is easy to exploit and the application source code is public. This problem is fixed in LORIS v26.0.5 and v27.0.2 and above, and v28.0.0 and above.
