AILOCK operates as a financially motivated ransomware-as-a-service (RaaS) operation, exfiltrating sensitive data and threatening public disclosure to pressure victims into paying ransom demands.

Eeyou Communications Network operates a regional fibre optic network serving the James Bay and Eeyou Istchee regions, providing ultra-high-speed internet since 2004.
