Pinturas Prisa was compromised in a ransomware attack attributed to AILOCK in July 2026. The organization, operating in the Manufacturing sector in Mexico, was added to the group's data leak site as part of an extortion campaign.

AILOCK operates as a financially motivated ransomware-as-a-service (RaaS) operation, exfiltrating sensitive data and threatening public disclosure to pressure victims into paying ransom demands.

Pinturas PRISA is a Mexican company from the state of Jalisco with nearly 80 years of history, specializing in the production of high-quality paints and coatings for industrial sectors (automotive, woodworking, manufacturing) and retail customers.
