CVE-2026-10577

CWE-306Published: July 14, 2026· Updated: Jul 14, 2026

10.0
CVSS v3.1

Official Description

A security issue exists within the 1715-AENTR EtherNet/IP Adapter. The affected product exposes a network-accessible debug port that does not enforce proper privilege controls, allowing unauthenticated remote access to intrusive command-line interface (CLI) commands. If exploited, a threat actor could read or delete files, stop tasks, modify memory, and change I/O states, potentially impacting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the device.

Risk Analysis

This critical security issue in the 1715-AENTR EtherNet/IP Adapter exposes a debug port that allows unauthenticated remote access to intrusive command-line interface commands. With a perfect CVSS score of 10.0, this vulnerability presents an extremely high risk, but there is no information on exploitation likelihood (EPSS) or confirmed exploitation (KEV).

No public exploit is known for this vulnerability, and it has not been confirmed as exploited by CISA. The vulnerability is remotely exploitable over the network with low attack complexity and requires no privileges or user interaction.

Recommended Action

Consult the vendor for specific patches or firmware updates for the 1715-AENTR EtherNet/IP Adapter. Implement strict network access controls to restrict access to the debug port and ensure proper authentication mechanisms are enforced.

Generated by the CTIWATCH analysis pipeline from this CVE's metadata (CVSS, EPSS, KEV status, exploit intelligence). Verify against vendor advisories before acting.

Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-10577 can be exploited remotely over the network without requiring physical or adjacent access, significantly expanding the attack surface for threat actors.

The vulnerability requires no privileges and no user interaction, making it a prime target for automated exploitation campaigns and worm-like propagation.
