Official Description
The CGM CLININET application uses direct, sequential object identifiers "MessageID" without proper authorization checks. By modifying the parameter in the GET request, an attacker can access messages and attachments belonging to other users.
Technical Analysis
CVE-2025-58402 can be exploited remotely over the network without requiring physical or adjacent access, significantly expanding the attack surface for threat actors.
Exploitation requires low privileges, which limits the exposure to scenarios where an attacker has already gained initial access.
