CWE-636Published: March 9, 2026· Updated: Mar 11, 2026
Official Description
An administrator may attempt to block all networks by specifying "\*" or "all" as the network identifier. However, these values are not supported and do not trigger any validation error. Instead, they are silently interpreted as network 0 which results in no networks being blocked at all.
Technical Analysis
CVE-2025-41759 can be exploited remotely over the network without requiring physical or adjacent access, significantly expanding the attack surface for threat actors.
Exploitation requires high privileges, which limits the exposure to scenarios where an attacker has already gained initial access.
A successful exploit results in complete confidentiality breach (data exposure), with a CVSS base score of 4.9.
