CISA KEV Advisory
Versa Concerto Improper Authentication Vulnerability
Versa Concerto SD-WAN orchestration platform contains an improper authentication vulnerability in the Traefik reverse proxy configuration, allowing at attacker to access administrative endpoints. The internal Actuator endpoint can be leveraged for access to heap dumps and trace logs.
Apply mitigations per vendor instructions, follow applicable BOD 22-01 guidance for cloud services, or discontinue use of the product if mitigations are unavailable.
Risk Analysis
This vulnerability in Versa Concerto SD-WAN allows attackers to bypass authentication and access administrative functions, potentially leading to sensitive information disclosure like heap dumps and trace logs. The CVSS score of 7.5 indicates a high severity, and its presence in the KEV catalog, along with a high EPSS score, suggests a significant likelihood of exploitation.
This flaw is actively being exploited in the wild and is listed in CISA's KEV catalog, indicating confirmed real-world exploitation. It is remotely exploitable due to its network attack vector and low attack complexity.
Review and update the Traefik reverse proxy configuration in Versa Concerto SD-WAN to ensure proper authentication is enforced for all administrative endpoints. Monitor for vendor-specific patches and apply them promptly.
Technical Analysis
CVE-2025-34026 can be exploited remotely over the network without requiring physical or adjacent access, significantly expanding the attack surface for threat actors.
The vulnerability requires no privileges and no user interaction, making it a prime target for automated exploitation campaigns and worm-like propagation.
A successful exploit results in complete confidentiality breach (data exposure), with a CVSS base score of 7.5.
CISA has added CVE-2025-34026 to the Known Exploited Vulnerabilities (KEV) catalog, confirming active exploitation in the wild. U.S. federal agencies are required to patch this within the mandated timeframe, and all organizations should treat remediation as urgent.
