Official Description
StorageGRID (formerly
StorageGRID Webscale) versions prior to 11.8.0.15 and 11.9.0.8 are
susceptible to a Denial of Service vulnerability. Successful exploit
could allow an unauthenticated attacker to cause a Denial of Service on
the Admin node.
Technical Analysis
CVE-2025-26516 can be exploited remotely over the network without requiring physical or adjacent access, significantly expanding the attack surface for threat actors.
The vulnerability requires no privileges and no user interaction, making it a prime target for automated exploitation campaigns and worm-like propagation.
