CVE-2025-12600
CWE-730Published: November 1, 2025· Updated: Jun 17, 2026
Official Description
Web UI Malfunction when setting unexpected locale via API.This issue affects BLU-IC2: through 1.19.5; BLU-IC4: through 1.19.5.
Risk Analysis
This critical vulnerability in BLU-IC2 and BLU-IC4 devices allows an unauthenticated attacker to cause a Web UI malfunction by setting an unexpected locale via the API. With a CVSS score of 9.8, this flaw poses a severe risk, as it can lead to denial of service or potentially more severe impacts if the malfunction can be leveraged further. The absence of an EPSS score means the exploitation likelihood is not yet quantifiable, but the critical severity demands immediate attention.
No public exploit is currently known for this vulnerability. The flaw is remotely exploitable due to its network attack vector and low attack complexity.
Administrators of BLU-IC2 and BLU-IC4 devices should apply vendor-provided updates to versions beyond 1.19.5. Implement API input validation and restrict API access to trusted sources.
Technical Analysis
CVE-2025-12600 can be exploited remotely over the network without requiring physical or adjacent access, significantly expanding the attack surface for threat actors.
The vulnerability requires no privileges and no user interaction, making it a prime target for automated exploitation campaigns and worm-like propagation.
A successful exploit results in complete confidentiality breach (data exposure), full integrity compromise (data manipulation), availability disruption (denial of service), with a CVSS base score of 9.8.
