CVE-2025-12515
CWE-394Published: October 30, 2025· Updated: Jun 17, 2026
Official Description
Systemic Internal Server Errors - HTTP 500 ResponseThis issue affects BLU-IC2: through 1.19.5; BLU-IC4: through 1.19.5 .
Risk Analysis
This critical vulnerability in BLU-IC2 and BLU-IC4 devices is due to systemic internal server errors, resulting in HTTP 500 responses. With a CVSS score of 9.8, this flaw is highly severe and could allow an unauthenticated attacker to gain full control over the affected system, impacting confidentiality, integrity, and availability. The absence of an EPSS score means the likelihood of exploitation is currently unknown, but the high CVSS score warrants immediate attention.
No public exploit is known for this vulnerability, and it is not listed in CISA's KEV catalog. However, the attack vector is network-based with low attack complexity, indicating it is remotely exploitable without user interaction.
To mitigate this vulnerability, users of BLU-IC2 and BLU-IC4 devices should update their firmware to versions beyond 1.19.5. Regularly review and apply security updates to all network-connected devices to address known vulnerabilities promptly.
Technical Analysis
CVE-2025-12515 can be exploited remotely over the network without requiring physical or adjacent access, significantly expanding the attack surface for threat actors.
The vulnerability requires no privileges and no user interaction, making it a prime target for automated exploitation campaigns and worm-like propagation.
A successful exploit results in complete confidentiality breach (data exposure), full integrity compromise (data manipulation), availability disruption (denial of service), with a CVSS base score of 9.8.
