Risk Analysis
This critical SQL injection vulnerability in SourceCodester Hotel and Lodge Management System 1.0 allows an unauthenticated attacker to remotely execute arbitrary SQL commands by manipulating the 'Contact' argument in '/pages/save_customer.php'. With a CVSS score of 9.8, this flaw poses a severe risk of data compromise, integrity loss, and denial of service. The absence of an EPSS score means its exploitation likelihood is not yet predicted, but the high CVSS score indicates urgency.
No public exploit is currently known for this vulnerability, and it is not listed in CISA's KEV catalog. However, the flaw is remotely exploitable with low attack complexity, meaning an attacker can exploit it over a network without complex conditions.
To mitigate this vulnerability, users of SourceCodester Hotel and Lodge Management System 1.0 should apply any available patches or upgrades from the vendor. If no patch is available, consider implementing input validation and parameterized queries to prevent SQL injection attacks.
Technical Analysis
CVE-2025-11469 can be exploited remotely over the network without requiring physical or adjacent access, significantly expanding the attack surface for threat actors.
The vulnerability requires no privileges and no user interaction, making it a prime target for automated exploitation campaigns and worm-like propagation.
A successful exploit results in complete confidentiality breach (data exposure), full integrity compromise (data manipulation), availability disruption (denial of service), with a CVSS base score of 9.8.
