Official Description
A session fixation vulnerability exists in the zenml-io/zenml application, where JWT tokens used for user authentication are not invalidated upon logout. This flaw allows an attacker to bypass authentication mechanisms by reusing a victim's JWT token.
Technical Analysis
CVE-2024-2260 can be exploited remotely over the network without requiring physical or adjacent access, significantly expanding the attack surface for threat actors.
Exploitation does not require any privileges, though user interaction (Required) is needed, which slightly reduces the risk of mass automated attacks.
