CVE-2024-1306
CWE-352Published: April 15, 2024· Updated: Jun 17, 2026
Official Description
The Smart Forms WordPress plugin before 2.6.94 does not have CSRF checks in some places, which could allow attackers to make logged-in users perform unwanted actions via CSRF attacks, such as editing entries, and we consider it a medium risk.
Technical Analysis
CVE-2024-1306 can be exploited remotely over the network without requiring physical or adjacent access, significantly expanding the attack surface for threat actors.
Exploitation requires low privileges, which limits the exposure to scenarios where an attacker has already gained initial access.
The vulnerability has a "Changed" scope, meaning successful exploitation can impact components beyond the vulnerable component itself — such as the host operating system or adjacent services.
