Risk Analysis

This critical vulnerability in Beehive Forum 1.5.2 allows an attacker to intercept password reset requests by injecting a malicious host header. This enables them to change user passwords without needing to authenticate. The CVSS score of 9.8 indicates a severe risk, but there is no EPSS score or confirmation of exploitation in the KEV catalog.

No public exploit is known for this vulnerability. Given the network attack vector and low attack complexity, it is remotely exploitable.

Recommended Action

Users of Beehive Forum 1.5.2 should look for updates or patches from the vendor to address this host header injection vulnerability. Implement strong input validation and secure coding practices to prevent header manipulation.
