CVE-2021-3577
Published: April 11, 2026
Official Description
An unauthenticated remote code execution vulnerability was reported in some Motorola-branded Binatone Hubble Cameras that could allow an attacker on the same network unauthorized access to the device.
Risk Analysis
Certain Motorola-branded Binatone Hubble Cameras are vulnerable to unauthenticated remote code execution. An attacker on the same network can gain unauthorized access to the device. This is a critical vulnerability due to its remote exploitability and potential for full system compromise. Its presence in CISA's KEV catalog confirms active exploitation.
Active exploitation of this vulnerability has been observed in the wild. This flaw is remotely exploitable by an attacker on the same network.
Isolate affected Motorola-branded Binatone Hubble Cameras on a separate network segment. Check for and apply any available firmware updates from the vendor.
Technical Analysis
CVE-2021-3577 requires local access, meaning attackers must already have a foothold on the target system.
Exploitation requires some privileges, which limits the exposure to scenarios where an attacker has already gained initial access.
CISA has added CVE-2021-3577 to the Known Exploited Vulnerabilities (KEV) catalog, confirming active exploitation in the wild. U.S. federal agencies are required to patch this within the mandated timeframe, and all organizations should treat remediation as urgent.
