CWE-284Published: April 14, 2022· Updated: Jun 17, 2026
6.3
CVSS v3.1
Official Description
Improper access controls in the B. Braun Melsungen AG SpaceCom Version L81/U61 and earlier, and the Data module compactplus Versions A10 and A11 enables attackers to extract and tamper with the devices network configuration.
Technical Analysis
CVE-2020-25160 requires local access, meaning attackers must already have a foothold on the target system.
Exploitation requires low privileges, which limits the exposure to scenarios where an attacker has already gained initial access.
The vulnerability has a "Changed" scope, meaning successful exploitation can impact components beyond the vulnerable component itself — such as the host operating system or adjacent services.
