Official Description

CSV Injection (aka Excel Macro Injection or Formula Injection) exists in the export feature in the Acyba AcyMailing extension before 5.9.6 for Joomla! via a value that is mishandled in a CSV export.

CVE-2018-9107 can be exploited remotely over the network without requiring physical or adjacent access, significantly expanding the attack surface for threat actors.

Exploitation does not require any privileges, though user interaction (Required) is needed, which slightly reduces the risk of mass automated attacks.
