Official Description
In CMS Made Simple (CMSMS) through 2.2.7, the "file move" operation in the admin dashboard contains an arbitrary file movement vulnerability that can cause DoS, exploitable by an admin user, because config.php can be moved into an incorrect directory.
Technical Analysis
CVE-2018-10521 can be exploited remotely over the network without requiring physical or adjacent access, significantly expanding the attack surface for threat actors.
Exploitation requires high privileges, which limits the exposure to scenarios where an attacker has already gained initial access.
