Official Description
NetIQ eDirectory before 9.0 SP4 did not enforce login restrictions when "ebaclient" was used, allowing unpermitted access to eDirectory services.
Technical Analysis
CVE-2017-9285 can be exploited remotely over the network without requiring physical or adjacent access, significantly expanding the attack surface for threat actors.
