Official Description
Directory traversal vulnerability in unzip/extract feature in eXtplorer 2.1.9 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary files via a .. (dot dot) in an archive file.
Technical Analysis
CVE-2016-4313 requires local access, meaning attackers must already have a foothold on the target system.
Exploitation does not require any privileges, though user interaction (Required) is needed, which slightly reduces the risk of mass automated attacks.
