Official Description
racoon/gssapi.c in IPsec-Tools 0.8.2 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (NULL pointer dereference and IKE daemon crash) via a series of crafted UDP requests.
Technical Analysis
CVE-2015-4047 can be exploited remotely over the network without requiring physical or adjacent access, significantly expanding the attack surface for threat actors.
Exploitation requires some privileges, which limits the exposure to scenarios where an attacker has already gained initial access.
