Official Description
Inductive Automation Ignition 7.7.2 uses MD5 password hashes, which makes it easier for context-dependent attackers to obtain access via a brute-force attack.
Technical Analysis
CVE-2015-0995 can be exploited remotely over the network without requiring physical or adjacent access, significantly expanding the attack surface for threat actors.
