Official Description
Eval injection vulnerability in the internals.batch function in lib/batch.js in the bassmaster plugin before 1.5.2 for the hapi server framework for Node.js allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary Javascript code via unspecified vectors.
Technical Analysis
CVE-2014-7205 can be exploited remotely over the network without requiring physical or adjacent access, significantly expanding the attack surface for threat actors.
Exploitation requires some privileges, which limits the exposure to scenarios where an attacker has already gained initial access.
