Official Description
Session fixation vulnerability in pfSense before 2.1.4 allows remote attackers to hijack web sessions via a firewall login cookie.
Technical Analysis
CVE-2014-4691 can be exploited remotely over the network without requiring physical or adjacent access, significantly expanding the attack surface for threat actors.
