Official Description
Mozilla Firefox before 28.0 and SeaMonkey before 2.25 allow remote attackers to spoof the domain name in the WebRTC (1) camera or (2) microphone permission prompt by triggering navigation at a certain time during generation of this prompt.
Technical Analysis
CVE-2014-1499 can be exploited remotely over the network without requiring physical or adjacent access, significantly expanding the attack surface for threat actors.
Exploitation requires some privileges, which limits the exposure to scenarios where an attacker has already gained initial access.
