CWE-200Published: February 13, 2015· Updated: Jun 17, 2026
5.0
CVSS v3.1
Official Description
oVirt Engine before 3.5.0 does not include the HTTPOnly flag in a Set-Cookie header for the session IDs, which makes it easier for remote attackers to obtain potentially sensitive information via script access to this cookie.
Technical Analysis
CVE-2014-0154 can be exploited remotely over the network without requiring physical or adjacent access, significantly expanding the attack surface for threat actors.
Exploitation requires some privileges, which limits the exposure to scenarios where an attacker has already gained initial access.
From a weakness classification perspective (CWE-200): Information exposure vulnerabilities leak sensitive data to unauthorized actors.
