Official Description
Mozilla Firefox before 26.0 does not properly remove the Application Installation doorhanger, which makes it easier for remote attackers to spoof a Web App installation site by controlling the timing of page navigation.
Technical Analysis
CVE-2013-5611 can be exploited remotely over the network without requiring physical or adjacent access, significantly expanding the attack surface for threat actors.
Exploitation requires some privileges, which limits the exposure to scenarios where an attacker has already gained initial access.
