Official Description
Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) SEL-2241, SEL-3505, and SEL-3530 RTAC master devices allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service (infinite loop) via a crafted DNP3 TCP packet.
Technical Analysis
CVE-2013-2792 can be exploited remotely over the network without requiring physical or adjacent access, significantly expanding the attack surface for threat actors.
Exploitation requires some privileges, which limits the exposure to scenarios where an attacker has already gained initial access.
