Official Description
Cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in Mahara before 1.4.1 allows remote attackers to hijack the authentication of administrators for requests that add a user to an institution.
Technical Analysis
CVE-2011-2773 can be exploited remotely over the network without requiring physical or adjacent access, significantly expanding the attack surface for threat actors.
Exploitation requires some privileges, which limits the exposure to scenarios where an attacker has already gained initial access.
