Official Description
Multiple directory traversal vulnerabilities in the (1) WebAccess Agent and (2) Document Viewer Agent components in Novell GroupWise before 8.02HP allow remote attackers to read arbitrary files via unspecified vectors. NOTE: some of these details are obtained from third party information.
Technical Analysis
CVE-2010-4715 can be exploited remotely over the network without requiring physical or adjacent access, significantly expanding the attack surface for threat actors.
Exploitation requires some privileges, which limits the exposure to scenarios where an attacker has already gained initial access.
A proof-of-concept (PoC) exploit exists for CVE-2010-4715. While not yet confirmed in active campaigns, the availability of PoC code increases exploitation risk substantially.
