Official Description
Directory traversal vulnerability in about.php in phpGroupWare (phpgw) before 0.9.16.016 allows remote attackers to include and execute arbitrary local files via a .. (dot dot) in the app parameter.
Technical Analysis
CVE-2010-0403 can be exploited remotely over the network without requiring physical or adjacent access, significantly expanding the attack surface for threat actors.
Exploitation requires some privileges, which limits the exposure to scenarios where an attacker has already gained initial access.
