admin/index.php in V3 Chat Live Support 3.0.4 allows remote attackers to bypass authentication and gain administrative access by setting the admin cookie to 1.
Technical Analysis
CVE-2008-5783 can be exploited remotely over the network without requiring physical or adjacent access, significantly expanding the attack surface for threat actors.
Exploitation requires some privileges, which limits the exposure to scenarios where an attacker has already gained initial access.
