Official Description
Multiple SQL injection vulnerabilities in Coppermine Photo Gallery (CPG) before 1.4.15 allow remote authenticated administrators to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the (1) albumid, (2) startpic, and (3) numpics parameters to util.php; and (4) cid_array parameter to reviewcom.php.
Technical Analysis
CVE-2008-0504 can be exploited remotely over the network without requiring physical or adjacent access, significantly expanding the attack surface for threat actors.
Exploitation requires some privileges, which limits the exposure to scenarios where an attacker has already gained initial access.
A proof-of-concept (PoC) exploit exists for CVE-2008-0504. While not yet confirmed in active campaigns, the availability of PoC code increases exploitation risk substantially.
