Official Description
NetSupport Manager Client before 10.20.0004 allows remote attackers to bypass the (1) basic and (2) authentication schemes by spoofing the NetSupport Manager.
Technical Analysis
CVE-2007-5057 can be exploited remotely over the network without requiring physical or adjacent access, significantly expanding the attack surface for threat actors.
Exploitation requires some privileges, which limits the exposure to scenarios where an attacker has already gained initial access.
