Official Description
Multiple F-Secure anti-virus products for Microsoft Windows and Linux before 20070619 allow remote attackers to bypass scanning via a crafted header in a (1) LHA or (2) RAR archive.
Technical Analysis
CVE-2007-3300 can be exploited remotely over the network without requiring physical or adjacent access, significantly expanding the attack surface for threat actors.
Exploitation requires some privileges, which limits the exposure to scenarios where an attacker has already gained initial access.
