Official Description
slapd in OpenLDAP before 2.3.25 allows remote authenticated users with selfwrite Access Control List (ACL) privileges to modify arbitrary Distinguished Names (DN).
Technical Analysis
CVE-2006-4600 requires adjacent network access, limiting remote exploitation but still posing risk in shared or local network environments.
Exploitation requires some privileges, which limits the exposure to scenarios where an attacker has already gained initial access.
