Official Description
ArGoSoft FTP Server before 1.4.1.6 allows remote authenticated users to cause a denial of service (crash) via a SITE PASS command with a long password parameter, which causes the database to be corrupted.
Technical Analysis
CVE-2004-2675 can be exploited remotely over the network without requiring physical or adjacent access, significantly expanding the attack surface for threat actors.
Exploitation requires some privileges, which limits the exposure to scenarios where an attacker has already gained initial access.
