Official Description
Sun Java System Portal Server 6.2 (formerly Sun ONE) allows remote authenticated users to obtain Calendar Server privileges and modify Calendar data by changing the display options to a non-default view.
Technical Analysis
CVE-2004-0742 can be exploited remotely over the network without requiring physical or adjacent access, significantly expanding the attack surface for threat actors.
Exploitation requires some privileges, which limits the exposure to scenarios where an attacker has already gained initial access.
