Official Description
Stack-based buffer overflow in FORM2RAW.exe in Alt-N MDaemon 6.5.2 through 6.8.5 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a long From parameter to Form2Raw.cgi.
Technical Analysis
CVE-2003-1200 can be exploited remotely over the network without requiring physical or adjacent access, significantly expanding the attack surface for threat actors.
Exploitation requires some privileges, which limits the exposure to scenarios where an attacker has already gained initial access.
