Official Description
Sygate personal firewall 5.0 could allow remote attackers to bypass firewall filters via spoofed (1) source IP address of 127.0.0.1 or (2) network address of 127.0.0.0.
Technical Analysis
CVE-2002-2397 can be exploited remotely over the network without requiring physical or adjacent access, significantly expanding the attack surface for threat actors.
