Official Description
NetScreen ScreenOS before 4.0.1 allows remote attackers to bypass the Malicious-URL blocking feature by splitting the URL into fragmented IP requests.
Technical Analysis
CVE-2002-2234 can be exploited remotely over the network without requiring physical or adjacent access, significantly expanding the attack surface for threat actors.
