Official Description
Buffer overflow in efstools in Bonobo, when installed setuid, allows local users to execute arbitrary code via long command line arguments.
Technical Analysis
CVE-2002-1814 requires local access, meaning attackers must already have a foothold on the target system.
Exploitation requires some privileges, which limits the exposure to scenarios where an attacker has already gained initial access.
