Official Description
Directory traversal vulnerability in iPlanet Certificate Management System 4.2 and Directory Server 4.12 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files via a .. (dot dot) attack in the Agent, End Entity, or Administrator services.
Technical Analysis
CVE-2000-1075 can be exploited remotely over the network without requiring physical or adjacent access, significantly expanding the attack surface for threat actors.
Exploitation requires some privileges, which limits the exposure to scenarios where an attacker has already gained initial access.
