Official Description
NBase switches NH2012, NH2012R, NH2015, and NH2048 have a back door password that cannot be disabled, which allows remote attackers to modify the switch's configuration.
Technical Analysis
CVE-1999-1420 can be exploited remotely over the network without requiring physical or adjacent access, significantly expanding the attack surface for threat actors.
Exploitation requires some privileges, which limits the exposure to scenarios where an attacker has already gained initial access.
