Attack Intelligence

Innovative Surfaces was compromised in a ransomware attack attributed to killsec3 in October 2025. The organization, operating in an undisclosed sector in Unknown, was added to the group's data leak site as part of an extortion campaign.

killsec3 operates as a financially motivated ransomware-as-a-service (RaaS) operation, exfiltrating sensitive data and threatening public disclosure to pressure victims into paying ransom demands.

Our operation exploited critical vulnerabilities in their infrastructure, allowing us to access and exfiltrate over 400 GB of data, encompassing everything they possess—customer data, financial records, and proprietary code. This breach was made possible due to insufficient security measures, which we view as a failure to prioritize the protection of sensitive information. The extracted data is now in our possession. Should Innovative Surfaces refuse to negotiate in good faith, we will proceed with a full public release. Our demand is straightforward: a financial settlement to secure the deletion of this data and prevent its disclosure.
