The derby high school

The derby high school was compromised in a ransomware attack attributed to kairos in December 2025. The organization, operating in an undisclosed sector in Unknown, was added to the group's data leak site as part of an extortion campaign.

kairos operates as a financially motivated ransomware-as-a-service (RaaS) operation, exfiltrating sensitive data and threatening public disclosure to pressure victims into paying ransom demands.

We are a high achieving school providing so many exciting opportunities for all who belong here. Our high expectations alongside quality teaching and pastoral care lead to excellent outcomes for our students. We are currently the highest performing school in Bury for student progress and have held this position for many consecutive years (pre and post pandemic). Our success is testament to the talented, hardworking and dedicated staff we employ and the productive relationships we build with our parents/carers and our local community.
