The City of Hesperia, CA was compromised in a ransomware attack attributed to INCRANSOM in March 2026. The organization, operating in the Government sector in United States, was added to the group's data leak site as part of an extortion campaign.

INCRANSOM operates as a financially motivated ransomware-as-a-service (RaaS) operation, exfiltrating sensitive data and threatening public disclosure to pressure victims into paying ransom demands.

Access was gained to files containing state secrets, non-disclosure agreements, contracts with private and public companies, as well as personal data of employees and government officials. Transactions, payment, and tax documents were also obtained.
